BOLD-BL-Hector -Stewart - Technology Coordinator

Job Description:
The BOLD and BLHS School Districts and the Little Crow Telemedia Network seek a person to be shared between the two districts. The job would entail being the Technology Coordinator for BOLD School District 60% of the time and Technology Coordinator at BLHS 40% of the time.

Duties include: Network Administrator including management of all content and mail servers; knowledge in Active Directory, Mikrotek routers, N Computing, Virtual Desktops, Networking (VLANS and VPNs), IP Telephony, and Sonic Firewall. In addition the Tech person will provide coordination and recommendations for local technology committee. Oversees local tech aids.

Qualifications:
Background in Local Area Networking, Desktop Support, Windows 2003 Server experience, Understanding of Audio and Video, good communication skills, ability to work with others as well as independently on job assignments. Wireless WAN and AP experience a plus.

Length of Contract;
240 days (12 months) with 10 days paid vacation plus federal holidays.
Position to start December 5, 2011 or when filled.

Salary and Benefits:
$40,000 - 60,000, depending upon qualifications.
Health Insurance, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance provided.
Employer match of TSA up to a specified amount.
Travel and communications cost covered by School District, position based in Olivia and Hector, MN

This person will report to the LCTN Director and/or the LCTN Network Administrator.
